This was one our first projects within the field of Digital Therapeutics. It was a very nice collaboration with CHDR (Centre for Human Drug Research, Leiden) and MakeHelsinki. Our role was to provide expertise to the study design and statistical analysis and to assist with the interpretation of data by providing sensitivity analyses. The results of the study showed that consumer product accelerometers can be used to assess tremor in Parkinson’s Disease and Essential Tremor patients in a similar way to laboratory-grade accelerometers.
