Open position Senior Biostatistician
Responsibilities and tasks
Senior Biostatistician is responsible of e.g. study design, developing statistical analysis plans, reviewing statistical outputs, performing statistical analyses, reporting and interpreting the results with our customers. Tasks may also include guiding/mentoring of the statisticians and statistical programmers of the company, internal process development and business development tasks. You will be a part of our experienced Statistics team and will work closely with both internal colleagues and our customers. Location in Finland (Turku, Helsinki) or Sweden (Lund) based on your preference.
You have a MSc or an equivalent degree in relevant statistics, computer science or natural science discipline. At least a couple of years of previous experience in working with clinical trials/designed experiments in pharmaceutical/ CRO sectors as a biostatistician is required.
You have good understanding of various study designs and statistical methodologies used in clinical trials. You have solid experience of statistical programming (using SAS or R, preferably some experience in both). Epidemiology knowledge is considered as an advantage as the emerge of using real world datasets requires also epidemiologic methodologies.
Excellent skills in both written and spoken English are needed. Local language skills are an advantage. As a person, you are thorough, happy to take on responsibilities, proactive, flexible and enjoy working in a team. You are focused on quality and always have customer perspective on the top of your mind.
